I got to go to Tenny this weekend for a BIG youth rally called winterfest! God did a lot of amazing things through this youth rally.We as a youth group had time to meet other people. I know that the guys in our youth group made sure that happen but meeting new girls as the girls in our youth group sat back and as like guys are stupid dont date you are to young!
I didnt meet a girl and her name was Ashley!We got to talking about she was telling me how she has been to Honduras before and that got us talking about how we both love it there. Then she started telling all the wonderful things God was going in her life.God is really using her family in life and i love that.
We also had the time to grow closer to God as a youth group and in our relationships just us and God.I got sit back and watch friends that people in the youth group brought with us i watched them grow and start to build a relationship with the same God that i have a relationship with which is AWSOME!!!
We got talk about the bible some of what we talked about was Being,Seeing,Sharing Jesus here are some of the verses
- John 1:1 { In the beginning was the Word and the Word was with God and the Word was God.} i love this verse!
- John 10:10 {The theif comes only to steal and kill and destroy; I have come that they may have life, and have it to the full.} I love this verse because it is talking about what God wants to give us!
- John 17:1-3 {After Jesus said this, he looked toward heaven and prayed: "Father , the hour had come. Glorifty your Son, that your son may glorify you. 2For you granted him authorutiy over all those you have given him.3Now this is eternal life: that they know you the only true God, and Jesus Christ, whom you have sent.}
i got a lot out of the weekend a song that goes with what i want to say to you guys that this weekend made me thank of is "Here i am" by Shawn McDonald look it up at youtube.com and look at the skit they did when we were there look up lifehouse everything it is powerful.
