Through my journey with Christ,i have learned that pray is on of the strongest things. Sometime as Christians we fell like the only time that we can life people up before the Lord is when something is rocky in their lives, but we need to learn that it doesn't have to be that way. We can lift anyone at anytime before the Lord. So i want to ask you guys to pray for Called and Compelled Ministries. The people in this ministry are very close to my heart, and i would like for you guys to life them up before the Lord for the next week. Things in this ministry are working out like any other ministry, not as smooth as we would like, but God is still working through them. So please lift them up for the next week at least and if willing for now until ever! Ask God to continue to use them while they work with the people of Honduras, that he gives them opportunities that will lift his name and that he gives them the strength that they may need to keep going.

What a wonderful song! This is one of my favorite songs right now! To me it tells were Jesus was when he was he on earth and i love that. That's where i want to spend the rest of my life. I know that it won't always be easy but i want to life for him, so if that means going through hard times in life, let it be! Mercer!
This weekend the youth group from Belpre Church of Christ went to a big youth rally called Winterfest.Before leaving for this weekend i started reading Irresistible Revolution by Shane Claiborne and it has really made me think a lot about life and helping the poor and outcast. So this weekend when go to Winterfest God set someone in front of me and made me think a lot about this subject.
At Winterfest between sessions your group has time to walk around Gatlinburg, TN and just look in the stores and different things. When walking around Gatlinburg with some girls from the youth group we saw this guy that was in this little shopping park, that had a ball and was doing all kinds of tricks with it. So one of the girls was watching him and we had stop while one of the other girls was in a store and the one girl asked the rest of us if we were interested in going and ask him if there was anything that we could pray for, for him. So we all kind of just sat there not really answering her for about the next 5 minutes. In that 5 minutes God was speaking to me. He said this to me " Delaney see that guy, you need to go ask him. I am giving you an opportunity to do something that you enjoy doing and something i have given you a desire to do." So when God was speaking to me i still just sat there. Then the one girl was like i will be back i am going to go give him some money ill be back. So when she said that i got up and was like wait i am going with you because i knew God had given me this opportunity to live his kingdom and i needed to take it. So we went and talked to him! His name is Mercer and he travels around to different places to do tricks with the ball he was playing with in the park that day. So we got to talking with him and asked him why he did what he does and he said that he does it because he loves bring a smile to person faces and it brings a smile to his face. So he just travels around to put smiles on peoples faces. (How cool is that!!!!) So when we were done listening to him tell us about what he does, we asked him if there was anything we could pray about for him. So he told us that he walks every where he goes and wanted us to pray for safe travels and that he doesn't get hit by a car or anything like that!
God put him there i feel for me to learn a lesson then! Isn't God just awesome all the time :] So when you get a chance please pray for Mercer and safe travels for him! Also when you get the chance sit down and listen to the words of Follow You by Leeland and Brandon Heath!

God is _________.
So me and Kelsey made it here safe and sound. We didn't have any problems on the way done.
So we made it here. Jen picked us up at the airport and we went straight to the dump , talk about a wow! The first day at the dump if in a way hard. Kelsey had never been to the dump before, so it was kind of hard for her but it is good for your heart to get a little messed up at times and the dump does that for you. So that was part of our first day.
So we have been here for about 5 days and life for me right now is great. I love being here.We have been able to work with a group from GC(Grand Central) so some of the things that we have got to do with them has been really fun. Then after they left we have just been able to spend sometime with Carlos,Eduardo,Saul,the 5 boys and their parents. That for me has been a lot of fun. I love just being able to minister to them even if i do it really just for God. We have a lot of laughs with everything that has backfired on us. But we knew that God had a reason for it and went on with serving him.We have really just been having fun serving God! keep praying for us and keep reading this!

Im here!
Hey guys i am so sorry for not writing since i have been here it has beens crazy since we have been here. We got here on wednesday and everyone met us at the airport(Jen,Mike,Sam,Jeff,Ashley,David,Carlos, Saul,Eduardo,Sarahi,Izzy). Then from there we went to Church's Chicken to eat with everyone. Then we were able to go to Jen's house and just spend time with each other and just sit around and just really get to start knowing each other even more. Thats all we did that night. Then yesterday we went out to Santa Ana and built a house with a bunch of people and can i just say that thats the fastest i have ever built a house we were done by 1. Then today we were able to spend the first half of the day at the house and then we went and got the group,went to eat at Church's Chicken because thats were the group always eats. Then we came to the mission house to just spend time together for a little. We had devo and that was awesome. All i have to say is that it is the first day with the group and i am already amotionly. So i have a feeling that this all be a good trip but also a hard one. So i need to you to keep praying for the whole group and for the hearts that we work with and for the hearts of those on this trip to be broken. Leave the comments!

Honduras!
Hey guys! its time again for me and my parents to travel back to Honduras! We are all ready and packed and we are leaving at 1 a.m. to go to the airport and then flying out of there at 6:15! Up for 24 hours! yes i love it! But i will be in Honduras tomorrow and i cant wait to start just being the hands and feet of God for the next couple weeks. Thank You to all of you who have helped us go to Honduras through your money and your thoughts and prayers we need them and we wouldn't be able to go on this trip without God's power and your awesomeness! Please be praying for us in the next couple weeks as we fly there tomorrow and as we work there and fly back!
